    1. Physical Injuries Department
    Introduction: There are 2 high grade physicians, 6 intermediate grade physicians and 5 primary grade physicians in our professional group. According to the patient's health condition, we mainly use physical therapies in conjunction with modern medical equipment; if the condition requires, we will prescribe medication. We are the leader in Guangdong Province for treating cervical spondylosis and spinal disc herniation. Our fame has spread to Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan, South East Asia, America and Canada. We aim to be the leader of Chinese massage with characteristic of southern China in the fields of treatment, education and research.

    Features: We have comprehensive treatment methods such as acupuncture, massage, orthopedic spinal massage, mini-invasive needle scalpel therapy, painless joint release, meridian point-injection, cupping therapy, Gua Sha, herbal paste dressing or soaking etc.

    1. Small needle scalpel therapy: It refers to a minimally invasive therapy of TCM combining TCM and Western Medicine theories. It is used to release tissue adhesion due to spine-related diseases and chronic soft tissue injury. It has its specific pathologic and anatomical theory with obvious effectiveness, reliable, safety, low cost and quick results in treatments.
    2. Painless joint release: Painless sudden manipulation of joints can release shoulder periarthritis (frozen shoulder) within 3 minutes. It is an effective, safe, reliable and cost effective treatment.
    3. 3-D orthopedic spinal massage: It is a non-invasive massage for spinal joints correction and soft tissue release. According to the mechanical properties of the spine, we adjust the direction and relieve the pressure of the spinal cord by forward bending, back-extending, left and right bending, left and right circling within the normal range of movement.

    2. Paralysis Rehabilitation Section:
    Introduction: Based on the long history of traditional Chinese rehabilitation, added with modern theories, the Paralysis Rehabilitation Section is one of the best in integrating Chinese and Western rehabilitation therapies. We have 9 rehabilitation therapists, 2 high grade physicians, 3 intermediate grade physicians and 2 Masters of Medicine. With advanced techniques and modern medical equipment, we aim at improving the function of patients by modern rehabilitation therapy integrated with syndrome differentiation method of TCM. We have developed our own special therapies in physiotherapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, cognitive therapy, herbal moxibustion and the rehabilitation of stroke, brain trauma and spinal cord injury.

    We have both outpatient department and inpatient department. There are physical therapy training halls, daily life training rooms, speech training rooms, cognitive therapy rooms, and recovery assessment rooms etc.

    Special Features: Our modern comprehensive treatments combine elements of physical therapy, physiotherapy, occupational therapy, sports rehabilitation therapy, speech therapy, psychological therapy and acupuncture.

    3. Intractable Diseases Section
    Introduction: There are 1 professor/chief physicians, 2 vice-professors/vice-chief physicians, 3 attending physicians, 3 resident physicians and 2 of them are Masters of Medicine in our professional group. We have both outpatient and inpatient departments. Acupuncture has been widely used in clinical departments including Emergency, Internal Medicine (Digestion, Respiration, Neurological, Cardiovascular and Endocrine), Surgery (Urological, Acute abdomen), Orthopedics, Gynecology and Pediatrics. We have achieved obvious effectiveness using acupuncture in treating stroke, vascular headache, paralysis due to head and spinal cord trauma, Parkinson's disease, depression, anxiety disorders, chronic fatigue syndrome, vertigo due to blood deficiency, facial paralysis, cervical diseases, spinal disc herniation, gout, soft tissue injury, osteoarthritis, chronic colitis, asthma, allergic rhinitis, eczema, urticaria and menstrual disorder etc. We are the clinical practice base of Guangzhou University of TCM, Hong Kong Baptist University and Chinese University of Hong Kong.

    Features: Dealing with intractable diseases by meridian point water-needle therapy, meridian acupuncture, five tone sonic therapy, catgut embedding at meridian points and meridian point application therapy.

    1. Meridian Point Water-needle Therapy: Guided by the theory of meridian and using modern bio-pharmaceutical techniques, it can cure all kinds of chronic cough, asthma, some allergy diseases and enhance immune system by stimulating the meridian points.
    2. Meridian Acupuncture Therapy: Guided by the TaiJi, BaGua and QiGong principles, we apply special stimulation on key points of meridian to treat digestive and nervous diseases, which can accelerate blood circulation, clear the meridians, strengthen the congenital Qi, and balance the Yin and Yang.
    3. Catgut Embedding Therapy: It is one of the traditional acupuncture therapies of TCM. It has achieved satisfactory effects in treating intractable diseases and endocrine regulation. It is effective, safe, reliable, convenient, painless and has no side effects. Combining with acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine, it is especially useful for treating chronic diseases.
    4. Meridian Point Application Therapy: There are summer meridian points and winter meridian points. The therapy aims at treating cold-deficiency and allergy diseases by application of herbal pastes at suitable meridian points in appropriate climate and solar terms.
    5. Bee Sting Acupuncture: We apply bee venom on certain meridian points by means of bee sting in order to treat diseases. It is used for intractable pain: sciatica, migraine; for allergy diseases: urticaria, allergic rhinitis and allergy purpura; for systemic diseases: rheumatism, rheumatoid arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis; for preventive health care of children; for Meniere' s disease and hernia etc.
