The term Hyperthermia refers to the process of heating-up tumor tissues with the objective to destroy tumor cells. It could also be applied to gynecological diseases, rheumatism and chronic inflammation with a promising result.

As the result of the heating-up, the cancer cells are damaged, its blood and oxygen supply is reduced, the body's own immunological defense mechanisms are activated, causing an increase of cancer cell killing. All of these events can significantly disrupt a tumor cell’s capacity to divide.

Hyperthermia therapy is a very gentle but nevertheless very effective treatment, and is one of the basic elements of the integrated cancer therapy concept in Clifford Hospital. During Hyperthermia therapy, cancerous tissue is heated using different techniques. Hyperthermia can be applied in combination with chemotherapy and non toxic natural therapies such as medical zone therapy and TCM. Hyperthermia is also used successfully in the prevention of secondary cancer or metastasis. There are two forms of hyperthermia, local or whole body hyperthermia that are used in the hospital.
      The Effects of Hyperthermia

    1. To damage cell membrane of cance cells

    2. Acidify cancer cells and increase sceptibility to chemotherapy and radiotherapy.

    3. Induce the heat shock protein on membrane of cancer cells, making them more recognizable by the immune system to destroy the tumor mass.

    4. Pain reduction
The electric-field-induced hyperthermia has more pain relieving effects.

      Hyperthermia is successful in treating
