Dental Implantation

What is dental implantation?

Dental implantation is a procedure that a dental implant metal is interfaced with the bone of the jaw or skull first. And then an artificial tooth is placed on an extension of the post on the dental implant, giving a look of a real tooth and recovering the tooth function.

Dental implant is not only stable and firm, but also comfortable and aesthetic. It is kind to adjacent teeth and has strong chewing strength.

Indications

A single missing tooth, multiple missing teeth or full missing teeth.

Dental Implantation procedures:

1.Through oral examination imaging, oral condition is evaluated first to make sure the availability of the procedure. Personalized treatment protocol is made according to the evaluation.

2.The jawbone is prepared for surgery, a process that may involve bone grafting.

3.After the jawbone heals, dental implant metal post will be placed in the jawbone.

4.The recipient will go through a healing period that may last several months (about 2-6 months).

5.The abutment will be placed, which is an extension of the implant metal post.
