Hyperthermia is a type of treatment in which the whole body or body parts of a patient are exposed to high temperatures (up to 40℃) so as to trigger changes of the structure and proteins in the cells. These changes can damage tumor cells or make them more likely to be affected by other treatments such as radiotherapy or chemotherapy. Over more than a decade, Dr. Pang and his team in Clifford Hospital have dedicated themselves to helping patients achieve optimal health and wellness with non-toxic, less invasive therapies such as hyperthermia, ozone therapy and more than 20 other alternative and natural therapies as well as traditional Chinese acupuncture, moxibustion etc. Based on their practices and experience, Dr. Pang’s team initiated a non-toxic integrative cancer treatment and has helped thousands of patients improve their quality of life and extend their survival.
On the 34th ICHS Annual Conference, Dr. Clifford Pang delivered the speech of “The Immune Regulating Effects of Hyperthermia in Combination with TCM on Cancer Patients”, in which he explored the immune regulating effects of hyperthermia in combination with TCM on cancer patients and its potentiality in anti-cancer treatments. Experts in all fields of hyperthermia from all over the world also presented their treatment results and studies of hyperthermia intraperitoneal chemotherapy in cancers, and efficacy of capacitive hyperthermia alone or in combination with chemotherapy, radiotherapy as well as non-cancerous diseases.
Dr. Clifford L. K. Pang given the" Special Contribution Award " for his outstanding contribution to the clinical application and research of hyperthermia.
