A national academic course of Traditional Chinese Medicine and Natural Medicine in cancer treatment was held at Clifford Hospital on September 27, 2014. This course was hosted by World Federation of Chinese Medicine Societies-Specialty Committee of Natural Therapy and Clifford Hospital of Guangzhou University of Chinese Medicine, aiming to strengthen academic exchanges and development, and improve the clinical prevention of tumor. Nine leading professors who are experienced in applying integrative treatment of Traditional Chinese Medicine and Natural Medicine were invited to deliver lectures in the course.

Professor Dr. Clifford L. K. Pang stressed that Clifford Hospital had been dedicated to practicing Non-toxic Integrative Cancer Treatment since the Hospital was founded. Apart from conventional therapies such as surgery, chemoradiotherapy and biotherapy, Clifford Hospital strives to offer more alternative treatments for cancer patients. Moreover, efforts have been made to communicate and work with more specialists and scholars so as to benefit more cancer patients with integrative, non-toxic and people-oriented medical technology.

During the course, each professor, who had years of clinical experience, introduced relevant subjects in their fields.. The lectures were well-designed and informative.and focused on integrative cancer treatment, which included hyperthermia, acupuncture, Traditional Chinese Medicine in caner treatment.

The course was a great success with over 200 people present including health care professionals from Australia, Taiwan, Hongkong, Shanxi, NanJing, Hunan and Guangzhou, etc. They were very interested in applying medical ozone in cancer treatment, chelation therapy and Traditional Chinese Medicine. Some even said that they would like to send their cancer patients to Clifford Hospital for Non-toxic Integrative Cancer Treatment.
