An International General Hospital
Founded in 2001, Clifford Hospital covers an area of 90,000 square meters, with a capacity of 650 licensed inpatient beds. The hospital serves 3000 outpatient visits per day. Currently, the phase Ⅱ building is under construction and to be completed and put into operation in 2017, which will increase the total number of inpatients beds to 3,000, and outpatient visits to 12,000 per day.
Clifford Hospital has a hotel-like environment and complies with international hospital management standards, with state-of-the-art medical technologies and equipment. More than 1,000 professional health care practitioners work to provide patient-centered care services. In China, Clifford Hospital was the first hospital accredited by the Joint Commission International (JCI), the international arm of the organization that reviews and accredits American hospitals. JCI accreditation checklist includes over 350 standards, for everything from surgical hygiene and anesthesia procedures to the systems in place to credential medical staff and nurses. JCI sends a team to re-review hospitals at 3-year intervals. Clifford Hospital has passed 5 times of JCI accreditation.
