Dr. Xu is a well-known gynecologist in Guangdong province, a member of Society of Obstetrics and Gynecology of Guangdong Medical Association of Chinese Medical Association, and an editorial board member of Journal of Practical Obstetrics and Gynecology.

He graduated from Tongji Medical University in Wuhan and once received continuous education in Free University of Berlin. He has practiced Obstetrics and Gynecology for over 20 years in Guangzhou Overseas Chinese Hospital of Jinan University and specializes in malignant gynecologic tumors, endometriosis, gynecological endocrinology and others. He has published more than 40 research and teaching papers and coedited the textbook of Gynecology and Obstetrics.
