Dr. Cao has practiced medicine for 40 years. He is highly skilled in treating cardiovascular diseases and complex diseases in internal medicine with integrated application of TCM and Western Medicine. He specializes in the treatment of hypertension, coronary heart disease, myocarditis, arrhythmia, and heart failure. His classical and empirical TCM prescriptions have excellent therapeutic effects, and have been widely recognized as the hospital formula by patients.

Dr. Cao has published 33 research papers and received 2 provincial scientific research awards. He hosted a scientific research project funded by the National Drug Administration. Dr. Cao also presided over a research project funded by the State Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine, which led to his invention of a type of new traditional Chinese medicine for viral myocarditis diseases.
